Via newjerusalem12.wordpress.com – About Our being In the Triune God

Revelation 21:16 describes New Jerusalem saying, “the length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.” New Jerusalem is a cube, the eternal holy of holies. This is not a physical holy of holies, “for the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its temple” (Revelation 21:22). This temple is only the holy of holies because everything related to the outer court and the holy place has been fully accomplished by Christ and fully applied to God’s chosen people.

To be in New Jerusalem is to be in the holy of holies and in the Triune God. This will not be something new that will happen suddenly in the future. Our being in the Triune God began with the death and resurrection of Christ. In John 14:20, speaking about His resurrection, Jesus said, “In that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.” Likewise, in His prayer in John 17, He prayed for our being in Himself and in the Father (v. 21). He prayed this for the present time, because He prayed this “that the world may believe that You have sent Me.”… [Read full article]

Via 21centurynazarites.com – About God now being my God and ‘He captured me with His vision (testimony)’

Through the Lord’s mercy, I came to know the divine truth 3 years ago, when I realized that each human being has a spirit to contact God. I enjoyed the church life a lot, gaining knowledge and learning about Christ, and having fellowship with the saints helped me to grow in Christ slowly. However God’s plan, God’s goal, God’s economy seemed so far from me and were not real to me. 2 years ago, I was involve in a theater show. Each person who involved needed to write something to put in a leaflet and I wrote: my dream = my career= my reality… [ Read full article ]

Via agodman.com – About entering into our private room and praying to the Father who is in secret

The Lord Jesus set a good pattern before us – He as the first God-man prayed to the Father much time in secret! Even after He fed the crowds by making a miracle, He went away and went up to the mountain to pray, and He spent the whole night in prayer alone with the Father (Matt. 14:23).

The Lord Jesus told us in Matt. 6 that we shouldn’t be like the hypocrites and pray outwardly for others to see it, but we should spend much time in secret, in our private room, with the door closed, with the Father! The Father sees in secret and repays in secret…. [ Read full article ]

Via newjerusalem12.wordpress.com – About our goal; it is the Holly of Hollies

Revelation 21:16 tells us that New Jerusalem is a cube: “the length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.” In the Bible, the holy of holies is a cube, and New Jerusalem is the eternal holy of holies. What happened to the holy place and the outer court?

In the Old Testament the outer court, the holy place, and the holy of holies were all parts of one tabernacle. The temple was the same. However, in Hebrews 9 the holy place and the holy of holies are considered two separate tabernacles. Hebrews 9:7-8 reminds us that only the high priest entered the holy of holies and only once a year, “the Holy Spirit thus making this clear, that the way of the Holy of Holies has not yet been manifested while the first tabernacle still has its standing.” Here the “first tabernacle,” the holy place, is a picture of the age of law… [ Read full article ]

Via agodman.com – About our learning from the Lord to take God as the source of blessing and be one with Him

The Lord Jesus as a Man of Prayer set us a pattern for us to follow, and He told us to learn from Him, for He is meek and lowly in heart, and we will find rest for our souls (Matt. 11:29). One situation in which the Lord prayed was the feeding of the 5000 inMatt. 14.

Most people see the outward miracle of the Lord multiplying the five loaves and two fish so that these would feed such a large crowd and even have some leftovers. But we need to receive revelation from the Lord to see the deeper lessons which come from the way the Lord performed this miracle… [Read full article]

Via agodman.com – About the Lord’s prayer as a pattern of caring for God’s need and also for our need

The Lord’s prayer in Matt. 6:9-13 is a pattern of how we as the kingdom people should pray. This prayer is all-inclusive, taking care both of God, His name, His kingdom, His glory, His will, and also of our need. Revelation 21:12 tells us that New Jerusalem “had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels.” A previouspost linked the angels with the giving of the law according to Galatians 3:19. Another aspect of the angels is seen in Hebrews 1:14, “Are they [the angels in v. 13] not all ministering spirits, sent forth for service for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?” The angels are our servants to help us inherit salvation, which is “so great a salvation” in Hebrews 2:3…. Via holdingtotruth.com – About The First Step Toward a Vital Practice of Reading and Studying the Bible

If we’re honest, most of us would have to agree that our Bible study isn’t what it should be. We know that as Christians we should read and study our Bible, but often, it’s hard to find the time to do it.

However, most of us do know that Bible reading is the foundation for a healthy Christian faith.  The Apostle Paul indicated this in Romans 10:17 when he said, “…Faith comes out of hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.”

But how do we become motivated to read the Bible regularly? How do we break out of our old habit and start a new habit of daily reading God’s word? Where do we start?

In this post, we’ll consider how to take the first step toward a vital practice of reading and studying the Bible. Hopefully, this will issue in a life-long love  for God’s word and an appetite to come to it often.

Begin by Praying. Pray to be emptied out; pray to be hungry and thirsty; pray to be pure; and pray to be full of taste for God’s word… [ Read full article]

What I intend to present in this post are the practical points that have been most helpful to me in reading the Bible.  I have taken these points mainly from “Reading the Bible,” the sixth chapter in Lessons for New Believers  by Witness Lee. (You can read it yourself atwww.ministrybooks.org, under “Additional Titles by Witness Lee” – listed alphabetically by title.)  There are twelve points that have greatly helped to enrich my practice of reading the Word. Via agodman.com – About the sanctification of the Father’s name. “Your kingdom come and Your will be done!”

This week we are getting into the matter of Taking the Lead to be a Man of Prayer. The Lord Jesus was a Man of Prayer – He was not just a praying person, but He was a Man of Prayer. The example of prayer given as a pattern by the Lord Jesus increases our seeking of the kingdom of the heavens as the Father’s heart’s desire.

This pattern also affords us our need of the divine supply of grace to fulfill all the supreme and strict requirements of the kingdom of the heavens for the Father’s good pleasure. In the Lord’s supreme teaching on the mount concerning prayer… [ Read full article ]

Via arkandarchitecture.com – About the benefits of Sequentially Reading the Bible

Sequential reading of the Bible is one of the most important habits for a Christian to develop.

Man shall not live by bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out through the mouth of God.
-Matthew 4:4

As Christians living in a country that grants freedom of religion, we often take our Bible for granted. Yet it has not always been that way. During the dark ages when the Bible was locked away in largely unknown languages, the people of that day sorely lacked the enlightening within it. Today the opportunity we have to freely read the Bible came at the cost of many lives and much anguish… [ Read full article ]

Via agodman.com – About the highest expression of our Christian life, which is prophesying for building up

Have you ever thought what is the highest expression of our Christian life? It is not doing a lot of great works for the Lord or even our living before men – it is our speaking for God, speaking forth God, and speaking God into people. The highest expression of one who represents the King over the entire universe is to speak in the name of the King and to express the King through his high speaking.

This is why when we stand up to speak for the Lord in the meeting we need to exercise our spirit, deny our self, and speak boldly the word of God which has been constituted into us through our enjoyment and experience of Christ. Hallelujah, we human beings can speak for God and even speak God into others!… [ Read full article ]

Via agodman.com – About our ability to prophesy, which is produced through the daily enjoyment of Christ

The greatest of all gifts and the most excelling gift for the building up of the church is prophesying (see 1 Cor. 1:2, 9, 24, 30; 5:7-8; 10:3-4; 15:45). All the believers have this gift, and this excelling gift of prophesying is produced in the growth in life through the enjoyment of Christ (see 1 Cor. 14:12).

As we enjoy the Lord every day, we are being transformed to become the precious materials for the building up of the church (1 Cor. 3:69-14). Also, an issue of our enjoyment of Christ is that we develop the gift of prophesying for the building up of the Body. As we enjoy the Lord, we become the materials for the building and we develop the skills to build up the Body!… [ Read full article ]

Via agodman.com – About the capacity of all believers “to prophesy as we eat, drink, and enjoy the Lord”

1 Cor. 14:31 says, For you can all prophesy one by one that all may learn and all may be encouraged. This shows us that we as believers in the Lord have a capacity that enables us to speak for the Lord and speak Christ to others. We need to see that the divine life in us has such a capacity, and we need to practice to prophesy!

As we eat the Lord, enjoy Him, drink Him, breathe Him in, and meet with the saints, there’s something bubbling in us, some words that are coming out of us for building up! As we practice to speak in the meetings again and again, we are perfected in our prophesying for the building up of the church as the Body of Christ… [ Read full article ]

About what life is

Life.

What is it?
Is it “the condition that distinguishes animals and plants from inorganic matter, including the capacity for growth, reproduction, functional activity, and continual change preceding death?”
Sounds good, huh? Well, that’s one way of defining it. It’s interesting that evolution as the “origin of species” can’t explain the origin of life, where it came from or what brought it into being. It seems to me that evolution concerns the process life takes after it is already here on earth, but not how life came into being. I mentioned in an earlier post, Are we here by chance?… [ Read full article to find out what life actually is, what it definitely is not, and some Greek words for “life” in the Scriptures. ]

Genuine building up of the church through each member prophesying

The way for us to build up the church as the organic Body of Christ is through prophesying. God desires to have a built-up church, and Christ promised, “I will build My church” (Matt. 16:18). How does Christ build up His church? In Ephesians 4:15-16 we see that the whole Body grows by holding the Head and by receiving the growth from the Head, and the growth of the Body is the building up of the Body in love… [ Read full article]
